1. Can we participate as a team?

A: No, you cant. This is an individual submission based program ( mostly because we needed to evaluate the skills of the individual for future opportunities )

2. Is it mandatory to publish the code open source?

A: Yes. There are two reasons why we are asking to publish your code open source.

  1. the problem statements are coined by tinkerhub for this hackathon purpose only.
  2. It will help you showcasing your skills when a company look into your code profiles.

3. Is the registration mandatory before submitting the final solution?

A: You need to register yourself first, share the basic information with us before submitting the final solutions. The final submission form will ask you to select your details ( for that to appear you need to fill the registration form first )

4. Is there a selection process to participate in the Hirehack?

No, the hackathon is open to anyone who is interested to give it a try. Anyone can register for the hackathon and whoever registered for the program can submit the solutions as well.

5. Who all can participate in the Hirehack?

The hackathon is open for anyone. However one of the key aspects of this hackathon is future opportunities like Internships. So Students from the third year would be a good fit for the program along with final years looking for good jobs.

6. When is the registration form closes?

Since there is no shortlisting and all, the registration form will be open till the end of the program, on 7th Feb 2021.

7. How does the internship selection process happen

  1. TinkerHub will make a list of projects and share to partner companies
  2. Companies do a internal shortlisting based on the projects and profile
  3. Companies reach out to talents and offer internships
  4. talents accept the offer based on their interest ( if multiple companies reached out, choose one )
